Helping Your Student Pack their Disability for College: The challenges of college planning can seem daunting for students with disabilities and their parents. This interactive session helps students and parents understand the key factors to consider when choosing colleges, completing applications, writing essays, seeking accommodations, and transitioning to college.

Janet Thibeau is the principal of BTA Education, an educational advocacy and college consulting firm based in West Newbury, MA. Ms. Thibeau also serves as the Northeast Regional Representative for the International Dyslexia Association.
Dr. Ruth Potee will be presenting on the Physiology of Addiction and the Adolescent Brain. The North Andover Police Department will also be setting up their Hidden in Plain Sight display for adults to walk through before the presentation.
The 4th Annual Wrestle ‘Lympics will take place on Friday, November 17 at 6:30pm in the NAHS gym. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online or at the door. Wrestle ‘Lympics is one of our signature events that celebrates inclusion for our Best Buddies® North Andover Chapter that features exhibition wrestling matches between special athletes and varsity standouts. Youth and high school divisions compete on the center mat under the lights at the North Andover High School gymnasium, with all the fanfare of a traditional wrestling match.
